Amazing Brownies

These brownies are one of my absolute favourites, they are constantly in demand from my friends and teachers. They pretty much keep me sane during school :)
The best thing about this recipe is that you can do it all by hand and has barely any mess, it is really simple and can be whipped up in just 30mins + cooking time.
It makes roughly 16, depending on how big or small you want to cut them.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 175g Butter
  • 175g Dark Chocolate (really any chocolate works)
  • 2tbsp Cocoa Powder (or any chocolate powder, milo and nesquik work just as well)
  • 1 cup caster sugar (raw sugar works just as well)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/4tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Cup Plain Flour (all purpose flour)
METHOD
  1. Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler (this is a small saucepan with a metal bowl on top - fill the saucepan with water first...) once melted add in cocoa powder and stir through.
  2. While the butter and chocolate are melting you should whisk together the sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla essence in a separate bowl.
  3. Let the chocolate cool slightly before pouring in to the sugar mixture, whisk together both these things. Once done whisk through the flour in separate increments.
  4. Put in the oven at 180degrees celsius for 30mins, any less and they will be way to gooey to cut through and any longer they will be too tough.
  5. Let them cool in the pan for 5 mins, then put them on a cutting board and cut them into squares.
This recipe is super easy and fast :)
Hope you enjoy xx

Cats are evil

I'm sorry in advance for all you cat lovers out there but cats are absolutely 100% pure evil. Dogs are awesome they are loving, snuggle up to you, sit on your lap, sleep on your bed but cats... don't even get me started they are prissy little bundles of stuck-up-ness who think they are superior to everyone around them! They scratch and bite and meow and hiss... pure evil

here is a video to prove why :)

please enjoy

i have a story about my sisters cat actually,
so this cat comes into my house right and thinks it can just take over, walking around like it owns the place, no bitch you do not own the place the dog was here first.. we were all here first you play by our rules, but no my parents are all lovey dovey and treat the cat like royalty so she thinks she can venture anywhere she likes. I got home from school one day and she was sitting on my desk chair and i reached out to move her and she bit me, like full on chunk into my hand blood spurting bit me, ITS MY CHAIR!!!! even worse she walks on the kitchen island, it is a sanitary place where we eat I don't want to bloody cat up there waltzing around with her dirty paws, my mother of cause thinks it is adorable, i actually put my dog on their one day because you know if the cats allowed up there then why isn't the dog? he enjoyed it immensly my parents not so much...
so this is a lesson learnt, cats are manipulative and evil.... i guess they are magicians in little fluffy form.

Essay's and Distractions

Today I am sitting at home, writing my english speech for my up and coming HSC assessment, woop wooop..

I would just like to say for all of those people out there like me that put things off to the last minute that it is a fucking bad idea and I don't recommend it... What is it like 7:45 at night, this is the time of day when the good TV shows are on, and I know teachers and lecturers are always saying year 12's don't have a life.. I say thats bullshit you should absolutely have a life in between study!
Also I would have finished my speech by now if it weren't for all the wonderful distractions out there, like facebook and youtube and sidereel and just google in general. The distractions are seriously endless, even the swivel chair I sit on is entertaining as hell when I am board I mean who doesn't love a chair that goes around and around and goes up and down, it's like a roller-coaster in your own home :)
So yea I would just like to say PEOPLE do not get distracted it is not a good idea, get your work done and then go out and have funnnn!!

thats all for now,

Yes I used to be a Tumblr user because I loved photography, now I just follow other people's blogs without ever really posting anything so yea, here are a few I found today that I think are really true to our lives...

The Beginning... 266 days and counting

So this is the beginning, I hope of a wonderful journey....

not...

I am not trying to be some pretentious blogger that sets out to creates life stories and be inspirational and shit like that, I just want a place to express myself and tell it like it is, which as I have recently been told is very cliche of blogger but anyway here goes..

So this blog really is a countdown of things in my life and things around me until the end of my HSC, who knows I may actually enjoy blogging and end up keeping on writing but for now lets say until the end of HSC and my excuse for this will be because it is keeping me sane... because lets face it the HSC is a fricking ball of stress to board of studies (BOS) though up to make us suffer after 13years of school. So I would like to formally say thank you, for making the last year of school suck!
To start off with: i'm 16 years old and I live in Sydney, Australia and that's about all I am willing to tell you creepy cyber stalkers.

Moving on, I enjoy going on bits of rants, and have been told by various friends that I remind them of Kinglsey.
-- IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THAT IS STOP RIGHT NOW AND GO TO http://www.youtube.com/user/ItsKingsleyBitch
HE LITERALLY MAKES ME LAUGH SO HARD AND SUMS UP JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING...

but my rant is about old people on buses, if you are reading this and you are a school kid or even young you will know what I'm talking about, you know those old people, or the businessy people that get onto buses and stare at you as though it will kill them if they have to stand up for one more second, as though it will be the last thing you do if you continue sitting in the spot you have carefully preyed on for a distance waiting for that perfect moment to get. Then some cranky old person gets on and expects you to get up for them, like no bitch, no... I will not get up for.
Don't get me wrong I am not one of those hideously mean people, and i'm not talking about the little old men and women that are actually really cute but the semi-old people that may have just gotten a job and feel as though they are superior to you, so NO i will not get up for you, i earnt this spot thank you very much!!!

Also I went to this really fabulous lecture thing today run by TSFX, if you are struggling with HSC or can't study to save your life I highly recommend it :)

that's all for now, I know it's long but this is more for me than anyone else,
night
xx
